The HK MP7 Personal Duty Knife (PDK) is designed without compromise for all the tactical and practical tasks of military and law enforcement personnel, as well as for outdoor use, bushcraft and hunting. It takes its name from the HK MP7 submachine gun and borrows its ergonomics, grip texture, handling and reliability.

The addition of manganese and nitrogen gives 14C28N high hardness, excellent edge retention and good corrosion resistance, while improving impact toughness and ease of sharpening. The tang runs the full length of the handle and has a lanyard hole, without being exposed at the end, so that pressure or a light palm strike can be applied there. A nylon belt loop or a MOLLE-compatible steel clip can be added as an option to the modular carry system.
