Presentation of the Victorinox company:
Founded in 1884 by Karl Elsener in Ibach, Switzerland, Victorinox is a family-owned company known worldwide for making its famous Swiss Army knives. The brand has grown around Swiss cutlery expertise, with an emphasis on quality, precision and functionality.
Victorinox today offers a wide range of products, including multifunction pocket knives, kitchen knives, professional knives, as well as accessories and tools. Its emblematic Swiss Army knife, patented in 1897, has become a symbol of versatility and reliability recognised around the world.
The name Victorinox, adopted in 1921, combines the first name Victoria, in homage to the founder's mother, and the term “Inox”, which refers to stainless steel. Thanks to its heritage, its spirit of innovation and its demand for quality, Victorinox today stands as an essential reference in Swiss cutlery.
